Aotearoa Tonga Relief Committee.

HM Queen Nanasipau’u Charity received a shipment of relief supplies from the Aotearoa Tonga Relief Committee (ATRC) in New Zealand on Wednesday 2nd March 2022. The donation was conveyed by Mrs Salote Sisifa (ATRC local representative) to Her Majesty Queen Nanasipau’u at the Royal Palace.

The supplies are to assist with the rehabilitation of the residents of His Majesty’s Estate in the village of Kanokupolu and Mango Island as well as, those that were displaced by the tsunami following the volcanic eruption of Saturday 15th January 2022.

Her Majesty’s Charity distributed the relief supplies to the residents of ‘Atataa, Mango, Kanokupolu, ‘Eueiki, Tungua and Fonoifua.
