2020: Her Majesty Queen Nanasipau’u directed for the establishment of Her Charity as Private Foundation to provide assistance and support to the elderly and vulnerable members of society.Jan 15 2022: Aftermath of the Hunga-Tonga-Hunga-Ha’apai 15th January 2022 volcanic eruption and tsunami.February 2022: Mobilisation of Her Majesty’s Charity and commencement of distribution of Emergency relief supplies to the affected communities.March 2022: Humanitarian Aid containers received from foreign donors for the affected communities and Provision of COVID-19 supplies for the Ministry of Health to battle COVID 19.May 2022: Distribution of emergency supplies received from international donors and Tongan diaspora continues in the Outer Islands (‘Eua, Ha’apai and Vava’u).June 2022: Donation of relief supplies to Tongatapu’s 10 People’s Representatives for further distribution to the elderly and vulnerable members of the 10 constituencies.July – Dec 2022: Distribution continues to the most affected communities of relief supplies donated by the Tongan diaspora of Hawai’i, SFO, Australia and NZ, Rotary Australia and other international donors.March 2023: Donation from King Salman Relief Fund from The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Her Majesty’s Charity in support of the ongoing assistance and rehabilitation of the affected communities. July – August 2023: As part of the Pacific School Furniture Program and in partnership with Swire Shipping, donated school Furniture from Australian schools are donated to Catholic schools in Tonga by the Charity. August 2023: School library books received from Kahoa Corbett (NZ) are donated by the Charity to Tupou High School for their school library.
