On Friday 26th July 2024, Her Majesty’s Charity received the first shipment of 3 school furniture containers from SWIRE Shipping in cooperation with Sydney Catholic and Anglican Schools Corporation. The first school furniture container was distributed to St. Andrew’s High School.
Mrs Losana Latu (Principal of St. Andrew’s High School) thanked Her Majesty’s Charity and SWIRE Shipping for the timely delivery of the school furniture as the High School will conduct a renovation project with their brother school from New Zealand (St. John’s) and upon completion of the classroom renovations, the furniture will be utilised to refurnish the upgraded classrooms.
In September 2024, Her Majesty’s Charity received the remaining 2 containers of school furniture. Her Majesty directed the containers be distributed between Tailulu College and Lavengamalie College.
Mr Fononga he Lotu Finau (Principal of Tailulu College) alongside, the Board of Directors for the College expressed sincere thanks and gratitude for the generous donation of school furniture as it has greatly assisted the College in renewing much of the school furniture for Forms 3-6, Library, student laboratory, music room, senior and junior staff rooms, home economics and technical divisions etc.
