On 22nd November 2024, SWIRE Officials we received by Her Majesty Queen Nanasipau’u when they delivered 50 essential care packages of hygiene products to Her Majesty’s Charity.
The CARE packages were kindly donated by local sponsors in cooperation with SWIRE Shipping including: East Department Company Limited, Eastern Raise Enterprise Limited, Sunshine Company Limited, Jilong Enterprise Limited, Amart Enterprise Limited, Superbrat, Wonderful Trading Limited, Smart Investment Company Limited, JiaHui Electronic Company Limited, Harmony Enterprises Limited, Wei Long Trading Company Limited, Victory Company Limited, Punjas Tonga Limited, Starfish Limited, Golden Fortune Enterprise Company Limited, Brillant Star Entreprise Limited, SWIRE Shipping PTE Limited.
As stated by Ms Cordelia Kwok (SWIRE representative) this is the second time SWIRE shipping has conducted a Charity Drive and donated to Her Majesty’s Charity and will continue the tradition as it is a time to give and share the joy of Christmas with the elderly and vulnerable members of the Community.
Her Majesty’s Charity distributed the SWIRE Care Packages to various community groups and families including 95+year old members of the community, vulnerable families in the Kolofo’ou and Kolomotu’a District, Alonga Disability centre and Tonga National Impaired Vision Centre and other members of society.
